All pCO2 is backed by actual carbon credit, where 1,000 pCO2 in circulation is equivalent to 1 credit in ‘Reserve Subaccount’ on the Verra Registry.

All carbon credits retired and burnt on-chain will be transfered and retired in the ‘Retirement Subaccount”.
